Officers begin wearing body cameras this week

EUGENE, Ore. — The future is now for the Eugene Police Department and officer-worn body cameras.

All police officers at EPD will operate the cameras starting Thursday, June 2 We spoke with Eugene Police officials about the cameras and how officers believe they’ll help police do a better job as modern technology meets the cops in the field, full force.
